This is how Lisniak himself had described his trajectory as an artist: “The main driving force behind my practice is the exploration and observation of the tension between abstract feelings: random and ideal, naïve and informed, instinctive and superhuman. Having found this chord, this tension in my works, I overlay it with a mishmash of visual allusions to the currently relevant cultural products, be it advertising, fashion, cinema or even the works of other artists. This allows me to document the emotions, events and visual imagery of the era that we live in now.”
