Сolossus that Fell
Egor Zigura - Sculpture - Aftertoday
Greco-Roman culture has always been the symbol of civilization for people. Since the epoch of Renaissance, our epoch has relied precisely on the classical heritage of antiquity, and in many respects our civilizations are similar. However, we have achieved more, industrialization and globalization have reached all corners of the planet, and the planet is cracking under their pressure.
We live in the time of consumption, and this is a more obvious way to fall. The collapse of our civilization may be more far-reaching than any of the past. The "Сolossus That Fell" sculpture reflects the irreversible consequences of progress and warns against an even closer collapse.
